On behalf of our pupils, staff and governors, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to St James Hatcham Church of England Nursery and Primary School.
St James Hatcham is a vibrant, ambitious and deeply caring Christian school where excellence, opportunity and belonging sit at the heart of everything we do. From our youngest children in Acorns Nursery through to Year 6, we are committed to providing an education that is excellent, exciting and full of possibility.
Our Christian vision of ‘Raising learners in excellence and godly character’, together with our values of Love, Peace, Hope and Joy, shapes a community in which children are known, valued, challenged and encouraged to flourish.
We are proud of our strong academic outcomes, rich curriculum, specialist provision, educational visits, clubs and enrichment opportunities, alongside the exceptional pastoral care that helps our children grow into confident, articulate and compassionate young people.
As Executive Headteacher, I am privileged to work alongside Ms R H Matthews, Head of School, our dedicated staff, governors, families and wider community as we build on St James Hatcham’s strong foundations and look confidently towards its future.
