Curriculum

Curriculum

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.

Article 1, Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Our curriculum sets our children up as learners for life, appreciating the diverse world.

It is underpinned by the framework of concepts and skills identified in the Global Learning Programme and Rights Respecting Schools Programme, based on creating confident, bold, articulate advocates for social justice and equity and building independent, critical thinkers.

These concepts and skills are explored and developed through the themes that make up our curriculum. As well as teaching knowledge and skills, our curriculum is a vehicle for development of moral values, valuing self and others, and celebrating our multi-cultural heritage.

International School Award:

We are so proud that our work on our curriculum, based on Global Citizenship, has been awarded the top award by the British Council. The prestigious International Schools award is given to schools that have an embedded and established programme of activities around international education. It rewards schools with a forward-thinking, outward-looking global focused curriculum and we are proud to have received the award which lasts until 2024.
