Headteacher for the day!

We had the most wonderful day handing the reins over to our pupil Headteacher and Deputy Headteachers for the day!

We received applications from Reception to Year 6 and agonised over them until we found our final candidates - congratulations Lennox (Y4) and Logan (Y1)!

They joined Ms McFarlane and Mrs Fabian in their work for the day and introduced many initiatives to support our school improvement: relaxed reading with parents at the start of the day, longer playtimes, fruit and crackers for all classes for morning play, democratic votes for lessons, origami and paper crafts, dance breaks and even 'toy time' in the afternoon! Somehow between all the learning and fun, Lennox and Logan also designed and delivered a whole school assembly. Their theme was: 'Care for everyone and everything' and highlighted the important work pupils have been doing on litter picking in the community.

We know the school and local community are in safe hands with these future leaders.
