This Week at St James

It was an honour to be invited to the Year 1, Holly Class party this week. The special occasion was all about being thankful. The children rightly noted that God’s grace is firmly on them and they are grateful for their families, their school, their friends and their new ballet shoes! 🩰

We were also grateful that Archdeacon Chigor visited our lovely school. He was so impressed with the children’s behaviour and the standard of work and posed with some of our Faith Group Ambassadors. 😇

Other visitors included a music group who wowed the children with their musical skills. 🎶🎺🎸

A final thing to be grateful for- our great curriculum which includes at least one visit a half term to a place linked to the children’s topic. Enjoy the photos of Year 3, Oak Class and their visit to The Tate and Year 5, Yew Class who visited Chislehurst Caves as part of their Dark Tales topic - spooky but it has given them so much inspiration for their own stories they will be writing.✍️
