School Day

Our school day begins at 8.45am when your class adults will collect you from the gate and finishes at 3.15pm when the children are returned to the gates. Every class begins the day with our calm school prayer.

All pupils have a half hour playtime at 10.30am, where their play is supported and supervised by all non-teaching staff.

Lunchtime begins at 12.10pm starting with children from Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 before serving the junior children. Once the children have finished eating, they have supervised free play in their respective playground (inside if raining heavily). 

Collective worship takes place daily in the afternoon.

Monday: a weekly welcome led by the headteacher.

Tuesday: Rights Respecting and PSHE class assembly

Wednesday: Church service led by Mrs Price - open to all families to attend

Thursday: singing assembly led by our Music specialist Miss Omonyi

Friday: Sharing and celebration assembly (junior and infant focus on rotation)

Our day ends when we light the candle in each classroom and reflect on the day passed. We pray together and dismiss junior children from the Infant playground, and infant children from their classrooms at 3.15pm.

Clubs are held on Tuesday - Fridays and run from 3.15 - 4.15pm. Children are dismissed from their club in the infant playground by the staff member leading the club.
