Trips
School trips and visits to places of educational interest are an integral part of our curriculum and pupil experience.
Throughout their time at St James, pupils will have the opportunity to go on a range of school trips, visits and residentials, creating rich and memorable experiences, opening their eyes to the world around them and building deeper connections to the learning that they support.
We are proud to provide at least six trips across the school year, that's one every half term. Examples include:
- London Aquarium
- Horniman Museum and Gardens
- Natural History Museum
- Caves
- London Farm Vauxhall City
- Southwark Cathedral
- The London Eye
- Hampton Court Palace
- Chocolate Factory
- Planetarium
- Court rooms to visit a Judge
Every year, our Year 6 pupils look forward to the highly anticipated residential to Carroty Wood where they get to take part in a range of activities with their peers, including high ropes, abseiling, assault close and fire building.
